Since 1999, we’ve been designing, making and raising timber framed commercial and domestic projects from our Kirriemuir yard, all over Scotland.
As the Scottish yard enters its 20th year, we welcome you to join us at several events we will be holding in the coming months.
Firstly, the Homebuilding & Renovating show in Glasgow this coming weekend, Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June. We’ll be on stand D105, where you can discuss your project with Luke and Fergus. You can also arrange an appointment to speak to them, email hello@carpenteroak.com to book a timeslot.
We’ll also be holding a presentation on ‘Green Timber Construction in Scotland’ on the Sunday at 2pm – do come and join us.

We’ll be hosting an open yard at our Lintrathen base through the summer and an open house later in the autumn. These are great opportunities to see our craft in the making, learn how to design and build a green timber frame and see the finished article up close.

We’re also holding a series of CPDs for professionals throughout the year, including a joint day with Scottish based Fleming Homes – experts in softwood timber frame construction. Having worked together on numerous projects, we can talk you through the details and advantages of marrying softwood and green timber frames.
