We have a new opportunity available in our busy Devon office, located in the heart of the beautiful South Hams, between Totnes and Dartmouth.

Our Devon yard is the head office and hub of our operations, which also includes workshops and offices in Cornwall, Wiltshire and Scotland.  Founded in 1987, Carpenter Oak have always aimed to provide exceptional service and solutions tailored to individual timber-framed buildings.

We handle the process from initial enquiries, to design services through to manufacture and installation of residential and commercial builds across the UK and overseas.

The role:

We are looking for adminsitrative support, reporting to the Office Manager, who will thrive in our busy Devon office.  You will be the first point of contact both on the phone and in person when we welcome clients and collaborators to the yard.

We need someone with excellent communication skills who will be confident in their writing, meeting people face to face and talking over the phone.

You will be highly organised and have a keen eye for detail, particularly for the following responsibilities:

  • Handling incoming phone calls
  • Diary management
  • Accommodation, travel and logistics booking
  • Data entry
  • CRM/Database support
  • HR admin, record keeping, data management
  • Shows and events support
  • Sales support – early days enquiry handling and qualifying
  • Marketing support

Experience in CRM is essential (we use Insightly) working knowledge of Google Docs is preferable.

The position is for a full time role, but this could be flexible for the right person.
