How long have you been a carpenter?
Due to my chronic overachieving through the school curriculum I decided to seek real challenge through apprenticeship, which I started 16 years ago.
How did you end up working for Carpenter Oak?
Whilst digging footings in the rain on the side of a hill, for a job I was undertaking, I received a call from Chris Loughran, asking if I knew any carpenters... It was a very well timed call!
What is the best thing about working for Carpenter Oak?
The people at Carpenter Oak are probably the biggest appeal for me. Everyone is super interested in the craft/ their job, which seems rare these days.
It's also mega satisfying to spend a few weeks on a project in the workshop and then see it come together on site.
It's a phenomenal company with great values and an amazing team!
