Meeting us at any of our events is a great way to discuss your plans, get expert advice, and find inspiration for your project, whether it’s an oak-framed house, glulam extension, Douglas fir cabin, larch annex, or other structural timber outbuildings, while speaking directly with homeowners and the team behind each build.

Homebuilding & Renovating Show - Glasgow
When: Saturday 9th - Sunday 10th May 2026
Where: SEC, Exhibition Way, Glasgow, G3 8YW
Stand: B117
We'll be at Scotland's first Homebuilding & Renovating show of 2026, ready to meet you. Carpenter Oak has a dedicated yard in Scotland and has been building bespoke frames across Scotland for over 25 years. Our Design & Project Consultant, Fergus Stuart, will be at the Glasgow show ready to help you with expert advice about your timber framed project – visit him at Stand B117.
Fergus will also be presenting a masterclass - Crafting Character: Unlocking the Potential of Bespoke Timber Frames - on Sunday 10th May at 12:30am so please join us then in the Masterclass Theatre.

National Self Build & Renovation - Spring Show
When: Friday 15th & Saturday 16th May 2026
Where: National Self Build & Renovation Centre (NSBRC), Swindon, SN5 8UB
The NSBRC Spring Show will be a great opportunity to visit the Centre and meet a huge range of exhibitors and experts. Whilst there you can tour the Centre for unrivalled advice and information on self building.
You can also book a one-to-one consultation with Dan Wilson, our Design and Project Consultant, to meet him at the show. Dan can help guide you if you're thinking about or planning a structural timber frame for your home, extension, outbuilding or other space. He can also talk to you about our Architectural Services team who can take you from initial ideas through to planning permission. Please get in touch with us to book a time to meet with Dan.

Build it Live West

Build It Live are hosting their first show in the West Midlands - a great location to get to if you live in central England. We'll be there at Stand B65, ready to discuss your timber framed project with you, answer your questions and give you some inspiration with real life projects and case studies.

The biggest show for self-builders in the South West region is the Build It Live South West show at Exeter's Westpoint Arena, and it's not to be missed! Come and meet the Carpenter Oak team who will be there to discuss your plans with you. Whether you're thinking about building an extension, outbuilding or your dream oak frame home, we'd love to talk to you about what you can achieve with a structural timber frame.
