I grew up in central Scotland not too far from the Carpenter Oak yard. From a young age I've always been interested in working with wood. After working in a few wood based jobs I then travelled to Canada to try out timber framing. After staying there for a few years I came home and got a job at Carpenter Oak.
Since starting here last June I've been lucky enough to be part of a few interesting projects like a glulam project on the Isle of Lewis, and two traditional cruck frames, which I've always wanted to build.
