Mark and Heather’s listed barn conversion had a 90s wooden conservatory which was poorly insulated, making it cold in the winter and causing overheating in summer. They gained planning permission (using a design by Wyle Building Surveying) to replace the conservatory, and Carpenter Oak then took on the project at technical design stage.
The new space is a classic example of a Carpenter Oak Garden Room. Our in-house Architectural Team were able to enhance the design by adding features such as exposed oak sprockets and stone capping on the stone dwarf wall.
