This year marks our third anniversary as a 51% employee-owned company, and it’s a moment for us at Carpenter Oak to reflect on how far we’ve come - and to celebrate the positive changes that shared ownership has helped us achieve.
Being employee-owned means our people are at the heart of every decision we make. It’s about building a workplace where every Co-owner has a voice, a stake, and a shared purpose in the future of our business.
Since becoming EO, we’ve made meaningful progress in areas that directly impact the lives and wellbeing of our team. Over the past year in particular, we’ve introduced several new initiatives that reflect our ongoing commitment to supporting our Co-owners:
Alongside these benefits, we continue to strengthen the structure of employee ownership through regular EO Forum meetings, where reps gather feedback from across the business and bring forward ideas and concerns. It’s this kind of open dialogue that helps drive real change and keep everyone connected to our direction as a company.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to keep building on this momentum. From improving shared workspaces to developing more inclusive policies, our focus remains on creating a workplace that reflects the values of ownership, respect, and shared success.
This is still a journey - and there’s plenty to learn - but the transformation we’ve seen already proves the power of employee ownership in action.
Here’s to EO Day, to our co-owners, and to shaping the future of Carpenter Oak together.
