Guernsey Home undergoes oak framed transformation

Mont Hubert was originally a 1990s chalet bungalow in need of extensive refurbishment and remodelling.

Guernsey based architect Rachel Rogers, of The Drawing Room was appointed.  The bones of the house wouldn’t have suited an overly modern makeover, so an oak frame was central to the new design.

Carpenter Oak were appointed to design and make the frame.  Rather than taking the frame to site and our team raising the structure, we worked on a supply-only basis – just one of the ways we can provide our services.
