Our latest case study is a great example of a self-build project that incorporated an oak frame to give the project a ‘wow-factor’ – without breaking the budget.
Andy and Nikki Surridge wanted their home to have an open plan, vaulted space that would be the main living area. Through clever use of mixed materials – an oak frame in harness with a softwood frame – this project proves that the oak needn’t be throughout the building, but can still deliver the aesthetic beauty and presence of oak in the most important space in the house.
The frame was designed, hand made and raised by our Scotland team. Find out more about the project in our case study.
