Our latest case study is a great example of collaboration and working with contractors to provide a unique space that benefits a local community.
All Saints Church, on the edge of Dartmoor, needed a new space to improve what they could offer the congregation and the wider population of the village outside of the church itself.
The answer was a new village hall with linked access to the church. Carpenter Oak and Le Page Architects worked closely on the design very early on in the process.
The frame was hand made in our Devon workshops and raised by our team on site. Main contractor AD Williams took over once the frame was up, with our glazing team returning to fit the direct glazing.
In March 2019 the new hall won a Devon Historic Buildings Trust 2019 Conservation Award for a new build structure in a historic setting.
