We love getting out and about to showcase our work and meet anyone embarking on their own project. Meeting us at one of our shows is the best way to talk us through your plans, get expert advice and gain inspiration for your extension, re-model, cabin or house.
As well as shows across the UK, Carpenter Oak run a number of Open House events throughout the year, which have proven extremely popular with anyone wanting to see a timber-framed house up close and speak to the homeowners and the people behind the build.

11: The NSBRC Show

Our Project Consultant, Dan Wilson, will be at the NSBRC show on Saturday 11 October. This is also a great opportunity to visit the NSBRC and all the advice on offer for self-builders.

The Listed Property Show is where you’ll find a comprehensive collection of suppliers and experts for conservation projects. Carpenter Oak will be at Stand C6 and ready to talk to you about extensions onto old and listed properties. We’ll be at the only show in the north of England, ready to talk to you about your project. Whatever kind of build you’re planning, whether extension, new-build home, garage or garden room, we can answer your questions, provide practical advice and give you some inspiration. 2: Self-builders event, NSBRC

Join us for an in-person day for self-builders on Saturday 2nd November 2024 at the NSBRC in Swindon! We’ve put together a great line up of experts who will provide invaluable advice about building with a structural timber frame. We’ll have workshops and talks delving into every aspect of building with timber, from design considerations and planning permission, to material choices and advice on finance.
