Oak framed gallery inside Devon barn
Location:
Near Kingsbridge, Devon
Architect:
Scarratt & Martyn Architects, Okehampton
Frame Design:
Carpenter Oak Ltd
Details:
This project is a good example of how a small and simple frame can add so much to an interior space.
In this case an oak frame was inserted at one end of an old and dark barn to create a galleried office. With the addition of a large window and glass balustrading an extra light and airy room has been added giving the whole barn the feel of a more homely and cosy living space.
