Mowhay barn conversion
Location:
Cornwall
Lead Carpenter:
Rob Williams
Architect:
Nathan Davis, Arco 2
Frame Design:
Paul Slemmings, Carpenter Oak Ltd
Details:
A new oak roof on a listed stone barn. The triangular space formed between the top of the collars of the sling brace trusses and the underside of the principal rafters was carved into a 'four-leafed-clover' shape. A long sloping ridge joined the last truss to a small gable at one end due to the walls tapering at that end.
