Country Living Fair Cabin
Location:
Business Design Centre Islington for the Country Living Fair 1999
Architect:
Roderick James Architects LLP
Frame Design:
Carpenter Oak Ltd
Details:
This exhibition cabin was intended as a counterpoint to the Forester's Cabin built at Country Living Fair four years earlier. It provides a sleeping alcove (which can be partitioned off), separate shower / wc / basin and a kitchen area. The glass table is suspended from stainless steel cables and may be pulled up to give clear space below.
