3 Cruck framed cottages

Details:
Three 14th century cruck framed cottages were destroyed by a fire in January 2007. Carpenter Oak Ltd began framing the oak frames to rebuild and repair the cottages two years later. Due to the historical interest of the cottages as much of the original fabric was retained as possible. One of the cruck frames had to be repaired with a new top section in situ and section of the external walls were retained
