A pair of buildings to house Commoners in the new forest. These are the first new buildings to be built in the national park for many years and will house families with commoners rights to the forest.

The frame is in Douglas Fir harvested from the forest (as seen in two of the the photographs above) and will be clad in SIPS (Structuraly Insulated Panels) resulting in exceptionaly high U values. The houses are clad in Wester Red Cedar on the walls with slate roofs.
